Our Fact Find Mission to Hawaii Island brings back so many warm memories and dreams that fill our hearts with joy! It’s as if the spirit of adventure awoke inside us, encouraging us to explore every little nook of this magical island. The excitement surrounding us felt like a lovely echo from days gone by, inviting us to rediscover the wonderful stories that make this place so special.
Thinking back on our previous visits, we can’t help but smile at the laughter, the stunning sunsets, and the unique warmth that only Hawaii can provide. Arriving in Hilo for the first time felt like stepping right into a cherished memory, as the beautiful harbor view washed over us like a familiar embrace.
The gentle sound of waves lapping against the shore played a sweet melody, welcoming us back to this paradise. The bright colors of the boats gracefully bobbing in the water set the scene perfectly for our Hawaiian adventure. We were excited to settle into our cozy home away from home, surrounded by all the vibrant life the island has to offer.
After gathering our bags and picking up our rental car, we made our way to our Airbnb tucked away in the Orchidland subdivision. The inviting ambiance seemed to carry stories from those who had shared this space before, filling it with a sense of belonging and warmth. It truly felt like a delightful reunion, as the charming neighborhoods and lush tropical plants greeted us like long-lost friends.
As we wandered through the community, we found historical markers and vintage homes that sparked our curiosity, encouraging us to dive deeper into the rich history of the island. We chose this area not just for its lovely 3-acre plots, but because these lands were within our 30k to 40k price range and budget. And as we expected, the place was beautiful and has that familiar feeling of growing up on an island like this. And the warmth of the air and breeze was something we looked forward to, being away from these islands for a long time.
With every corner we turned, layers of history unfolded around us, from ancient trails to culturally significant sites that greatly enriched our experience. Everywhere we looked, the beautiful natural landscape shared whispers of a fascinating past, beckoning us to rediscover its secrets.
