MARCH 2027 FSM CONGRESSIONAL ELECTION
March 2027 General Election: The next full general election for all 14 seats in the Congress of the Federated States of Micronesia is scheduled for March 2, 2027, which will be followed by the indirect election of the President and Vice President for the 2027–2031 term.
Voter Registration Application: Download the official form to register as a new voter, update your residential or mailing address, or record a legal name change. Complete, sign, and submit the printed copy to your local election office before the registration deadline.
Absentee Ballot Application: Download this form to request a mail-in absentee ballot if you are unable to vote in person on Election Day. Ensure you are already a registered voter, indicate your state/precinct and ballot mailing address, and submit the request before the absentee application cutoff date.
FSM VOTER REGISTRATION
To vote in FSM Congressional elections, download and complete the official registration application. Submit your completed, sworn application to your state’s National Election Commission office (Chuuk, Pohnpei, Yap, or Kosrae) along with:One approved proof of identity (FSM Passport, Driver’s License, Birth Certificate, or Baptismal Certificate) A 2" x 2" passport-style photograph (if requesting a Voter ID card)An official student enrollment letter (if registering while attending school outside your home state/district)
Request Your Absentee Ballot
Unable to vote at your home precinct on Election Day? Follow these steps to request a mail-in or off-island ballot:Confirm Voter Status: Ensure you are registered in Chuuk, Pohnpei, Yap, or Kosrae.Complete & Specify: Fill out your current residential address, complete mailing address, and select your absentee category (e.g., By Mail or Special Polling Place). Sign & Submit Individually: Sign under penalty of perjury and mail or deliver the physical form to your home state's National Election Commissioner.

Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) passport application form. Download the form here, fill it out, notarize it, include the fee, and either send directly to the Division of Immigration, FSM Department of Justice, P.O. Box PS-157, Palikir, Pohnpei FM 96941 or to the closest consulate office and they'll send it to the FSM for you. Note: the FSM Consulate offices may be able to notarize your application for you if you send it to them.
