Last weekend, we had the chance to visit the charming city of Mukilteo with our two boys. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning views of the Puget Sound and the snow-capped Olympic Mountains in the distance.
Our first stop was the Mukilteo Lighthouse, a historic landmark that has stood watch over the harbor for over a century. The boys loved climbing to the top of the lighthouse and peering out over the sparkling waters. Afterward, we strolled along the waterfront, stopping to skip stones and explore the rocky beaches.
Later in the day, we visited the Mukilteo Lighthouse Park, where the kids ran and played on the expansive lawns. We packed a picnic lunch and enjoyed watching the ferries come and go across the sound. As the sun began to set, we walked out to the end of the pier, taking in the breathtaking views.
Our visit to Mukilteo was the perfect family getaway. The charming seaside town, stunning natural beauty, and fun activities made for an unforgettable weekend adventure with our boys. We can’t wait to return again soon!
