We’re so excited to be moving into our new house! After renting it out for a while, the time has finally come for us to make it our own. Before we can fully settle in, though, we’re planning a big housewarming party to celebrate. It will be the perfect chance for us to welcome all our friends and family to our new place.
And that’s not the only big event on the horizon – not long after the housewarming, we’ll be welcoming a new grandbaby into the family! We can’t wait to have a little one running around the house. It’s going to be a busy but joyful time as we get the nursery ready and prepare for the new arrival.
We’re so grateful for this new chapter and all the wonderful changes coming our way.
The Hard Work Begins!
We’re finally in our new house, but the hard work is just getting started. We had to buy not one, not two, but three living room sets – one for the guest living room, one for the family living room, and one for the rec room. And that’s not all – we also need to purchase a washer and dryer, a new fridge, and dining sets for the kitchen.
My partner has been loving the process of furnishing our new home, but I have to admit, my back is not happy at all with all the heavy lifting! Still, it’s all worth it to make this new house feel like a cozy, welcoming home.
